Dear friends,I want to be honest with you. I also have a day job, so everything at KORSETA VASI HOME is slow-made with love, on weekends and weekdays. I maintain almost 2 online shops and a website – it’s not easy at all, but I’m not complaining. I am happy and grateful I can do what is truly mine.

And most importantly – I do everything myself. I buy everything myself. I am completely independent, with no business partners, which for now is okay. It’s just me.The hit of my brand this year is MUNKY the Cow 🐄 She was born because a lovely mama asked me for a custom cow for her 1-year-old baby girl. And Munky took first place. Dresses & KORSETA VASI corset prototype: the plan is ready, but I’m searching for special materials – fabric, metal, base and 4 of 6 layers are all special and hard to source. It will take about 1 year if everything goes to plan. It was orthopaedics. It was punishment.This is the IRON ORTHOPAEDIC CORSET, c. 1570-1600, France. Perforated iron, hinged at the sides. Used for spinal correction. Kept today in Wellcome Collection, London – Inv. No. 1572-162.Weight: 3-5 kgParts: 2Material: Hammered iron, perforated with diamonds and circles just to make it lighter.Closure: Padlock. You could not take it off alone.It didn’t follow the body. The body had to follow it. No breathing. No sitting. No dancing. A woman inside was an exhibit.THE DIFFERENCE: 2 PARTS VS 61 PARTSThat is the whole story.Iron corset: 2 flat pieces. Left and right. Hammered on an anvil. No darts, no curves, no boning, no soul. Hallo, ik ben Vaselika!Welkom in mijn kleine creatieve wereld.Tekenen is al van jongs af aan mijn grootste passie en talent. Het geeft me zoveel plezier en rust. Ik teken niet alleen kleding, maar ook mensen, portretten, landschappen en alles wat me inspireert.Uit die liefde voor tekenen zijn mijn naaipatronen ontstaan. Elk patroon is met de hand ontworpen, met aandacht voor detail en met veel liefde.Op dit moment verkoop ik hier mijn naaipatronen (PDF) zodat jij zelf je eigen kleding kunt maken.
